General Description
TriQuint’s TGA2598-SM is a packaged broadband driver
amplifier fabricated on TriQuint’s TQGaN25 0.25 um
GaN on SiC process. Operating from 6 to 12 GHz, the
TGA2598-SM achieves 2 W saturated output power with
a power-added efficiency of > 25 %, and 25 dB small
signal gain.
The TGA2598-SM is available in a low cost, 4x4 mm air-
cavity ceramic QFN. The TGA2598-SM is an ideal
choice to drive TriQuint’s high performing GaN HPAs
allowing the user to run both driver and HPA off the
same voltage rail.
Both RF ports have integrated DC blocking capacitors
and are fully matched to 50 Ohms.
Lead free and RoHS compliant.
Evaluation Boards are available upon request.
